Curriculum content
-
This basic training introduces you to HALCON. You learn how to work with HDevelop, to use data structures, to acquire images from a camera, develop a small blob analysis application, and integrate the code.
-
This basic training shows you how to calibrate a camera setup with a single camera using MVTec HALCON.
-
This advanced training covers HALCON's shape-based matching along with its generic shape matching operator set. You will learn the benefits of shape matching, how to apply shape matching to your use case, and how to parameterize the most common parameters for optimal matching results.
-
This basic training introduces you to 1D measuring in MVTec HALCON. You learn what 1D measuring is and how to develop an application.
-
This basic training introduces you to 2D metrology in MVTec HALCON. You learn what 2D metrology is and how to develop an application.
-
This basic training teaches you how to read bar codes with HALCON and MERLIC.
-
This basic training teaches you how to read data codes with HALCON and MERLIC.
-
This advanced training introduces you to MVTec's Deep OCR (Optical Character Recognition). You will learn how to use Deep OCR in different scenarios.
-
This basic training introduces you to HDevEngine. You learn how to use HDevEngine to integrate HDevelop code in your C++, C#, Visual Basic, or Python applications, to use the Library Export, and to debug applications using HDevEngine. Modules 2 and 3 are available in multiple programming languages as submodules. To successfully complete the course, you only need to finish the submodules in your chosen language.
-
Prove your knowledge and skills in developing machine vision applications with HALCON by taking this 60-minute exam. The exam contains 30 questions, and you must answer at least 80% correctly to pass.
